The twenty-nine candles flicker,
And remind us of the seperation.
You must have stolen some of mine.
For you have too many,
and I have too few.
Fortunately,
The heart can't count candles.

I have never been too impressed with my poetry, but I have been recently motivated to try it again by a certain special someone. The poem is about our difference in age and how that can't stop my emotions from taking their own path.
